The winners of the 9th edition of the CNP Award are known. The prize-giving ceremony for the best press bodies in Côte d'Ivoire took place on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Azalaï Hotel in Marcory. this ceremony  held under the patronage of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire, recorded the presence of Bruno Nabagné Koné, Minister of Communication, Digital Economy and Post, spokesman of the Government, and President of the event, Mrs. Clarisse Duncan, wife of the Vice-President of the Republic and many other politicians and pressmen.

 This award ceremony was an opportunity for Mrs. Dominique Ouattara to present prizes to the two winners of this edition. Thus, for this edition, the two winners are respectively the daily Fraternité Matin for the category of the best press body for general information and the best press body dealing with Economy issues. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, patron of the ceremony offered 10 HP Core i7 computers, 10 dictaphones, 04 Canon brand cameras and two (02) million CFA francs to the two winners. She also donated one million CFA francs to the ceremony organizing committee. In addition, the National Press Authority (ANP) has awarded a special prize to the wife of the Head of State for all her actions and constant support.



The touching testimony of Raphaël Lakpé

Raphaël Lakpé, President of the National Press Authority (ANP) gave a touching testimony on the First Lady, Dominique Ouattara. He recounted all her support to the media. According to him, she has always been at the side of the media well before she became First Lady. For this reason, he is not only pleased to award her a special prize but also offer her a magnificent painting representing maternal love.

Aby Raoul, Mayor of the municipality of Marcory has expressed all his joy to host the 9th edition of the CNP Award in his area. For the latter, such a ceremony shows that the Ivorian press is full of talent. He concluded by congratulating the ANP for holding this event.
