The First Lady, Dominique Ouattara sponsored the ceremony of dedication of the new chapel of Assounvouè, village located in Toumodi, Sunday, November 25, 2018. Offered by Mr. Daniel Kablan Duncan, Vice-President of the Republic and his wife, native from this village, the Chapel "Our Lady of All Graces" has 1,100 seats. A real architectural jewel that has impressed everyone.

The people have welcomed with great joy its construction and the decision of Bishop Alexis Touably Youlo, Bishop of Agboville and Apostolic Administrator of Yamoussoukro, during the blessing ceremony, to make this chapel a church.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several Government officials including Mr. Eugene Aka Aouélé, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Mr. Maurice Kouakou Bandama, Minister of Culture and Francophonie, Mr. Siandou Fofana , Minister of Tourism, Mr. Alain Richard Donwahi, Minister of Water and Forests and many other officials and Presidents of Institutions.

At the rendez-vous of charity and love it is a golden rule to sow joy and happiness in the hearts of his fellow citizen. A precept to which Ivorian Mother Teresa, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara excels for many years. During this ceremony, she offered many in kind and in cash gifts to the members of the clergy of the chapel, the believers and the people of Assounvouè. These are donations in kind and cash valued at 51 million CFA francs. In addition, the Vice President also donated African clothes and oxen to the Presidential couple.

"We have just witnessed the dedication and blessing of the chapel of Assounvouè which has now become a church. I would like to thank the people for their warm welcome, and especially to thank the Vice-President and his wife, Mrs. Clarisse Duncan, who have offered this architectural jewel to the people of Assounvouè. I hope they will take good care of it. It was beautiful, it was a very beautiful ceremony, "thanked Mrs. Dominique Ouattara after the ceremony.

Mr. Daniel Kablan Duncan, Vice-President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, expressed his deep gratitude to the First Lady for honoring this highly spiritual ceremony with her presence. He also  thanked her for his many gifts to the people.

 Honorable Arthur Aloko, local deputy has on behalf of the people, welcomed the construction of this church. He also thanked the First Lady for her many gifts. The ceremony of consecration and blessing was presided by Bishop Alexis Touably Youlo, Bishop of Agboville and Apostolic Administrator of Yamoussoukro.
