Fight against Child Labor:
The CNS in collaboration with the CIM trains social workers on child labor issue.
The National Oversight Committee for actions against trafficking, exploitation, and the Child Labor (CNS), in collaboration with the Inter-Ministerial Committee (CIM/IMC) continues its series of training of social actors on the thorny issue of worst Forms of Child Labor. Thus, this organization led by the First Lady Mrs. Dominique Ouattara is organizing from 16 to 17 September 2013 at the Hotel Belle Côte in La Riviera Palmeraie, a workshop on capacity building intended to social workers on the issue of child labor. And that, after three (03) previous workshops on the issue that have targeted, the prefects, communication managers of Technical Ministries, then the gendarmes and Policemen.
Indeed, 75 social workers, who came from different horizons, will take part in this 2-day workshop. The opening ceremony of the seminar was chaired by Moussa Dosso, Minister of State, Minister of Employment, Social Affairs and Vocational Training, also chairperson of the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC). By his side was Anne Desirée Ouloto, Minister of Solidarity, Family, Women and Children, also Vice-chairperson of the CIM/IMC).
The honor went to the Minister Moussa Dosso, chairperson of CIM deliver the opening speech of the seminar. He took advantage of this platform to highlight the importance of the workshop for the remediation of the problem. For the Minister of State, community awareness on the phenomenon to a change in behavior vis-à -vis the question remains essential. For the chairperson of the CIM, it is obvious to put in the heart of remediation programs of the phenomenon dialogue and communities. For all these reasons, he invited the seminarians to pay special attention to the workshop.
