First Lady Dominique Ouattara has provided funds of FCFA 150 million to 1,500 women micro projects. It was on the occasion of the delivery ceremony of the Support Fund of the Women of Côte d'Ivoire (FAFCI), on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015 in Touba. Taking this opportunity, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered donations in cash and in-kind worth 160.2 million FCFA to the women of Touba department. This true support that will enable women of this region out of the difficulties they undergo for many years through the strengthening of their activities. Specifically, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered in-kind donations worth 155 million CFA francs to the women of Touba.
These gifts consist of equipment and farm equipment for women's groups and cooperatives. The shopping, the restaurant managers, hairdressers and seamstresses have also received equipment to strengthen their activities. In the social field, the First Lady offered stoves, freezers, refrigerators and chairs to the social center of Touba. In the field of education, primary and secondary schools of the department have received educational materials and maintenance equipment. Outdoor games have offered for the nursery of the department. Health centers of the department have received medical equipment to enhance their technical platform. The school canteens have also received equipment to enable children have breakfast. The First Lady has offered, in the end, manual tricycles, wheelchairs and crutches for disabled people. In addition to these donations, the women of Touba have nicknamed "Fanta GBE" (Fanta Fair complexion) offered the sum of CFA 5,200,000 to people.
