The students of modern high school of Séguéla desire it from all their heart. She could not refuse to give it to them. The modern high school will be renamed soon the Dominique Ouattara Modern High School of Séguéla. The announcement has been made on Thursday, July 23rd, 2015, during the opening ceremony of the multimedia room of that school. The official ceremony for the delivery of the keys of the room took place in the school premises, in the presence of Mrs. Kandia Camara Kamissoko, Minister of National and Technical Education, the administrative authorities of the city, as well as in the presence of teachers, students and the public.
O a total value of F CFA 30 million, the media room has been completed in collaboration with the LONACI. It is equipped with 20 computers with an Internet connection, 20 headphones and a multifunctional printer. The founder of Children of Africa has also renovated and equipped the library of the establishment of over 1,000 books of various genre. Moreover, as she used to do it so well, she offered various donations to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools of the city. Specifically, the mom of toddlers offered 8 swings, 8 slides, 50 mats, 400 small chairs, 50 ponies, 200 small tables to the kindergartens of Séguéla Department. Primary and secondary schools of the department have received eight complete sets of computers, 300 bins, 300 rakes, and 300 handle broom, 20 football jersey games, 500 chairs, 50 boxes of chalks and 50 geometric sets. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has also offered 2,000 plates, 2,000 spoons, 2.000 cups, 1.000 decanters, 500 bowls and 500 carafes to the school canteens of the department. Food has also been offered. These include 100 rice bags of 50 kg, 100 pasta bags, 50 boxes of oil cans and 50 cartons of tomato paste cans. In addition to these in-kind donations and various equipment, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered the sum of CFA 3,400,000 to students, teachers and the populations that attended the ceremony.
