Abengourou
Training and education of youth is one of the major focus areas of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara ‘s Children of Africa Foundation. Thus, since the creation of Children of Africa Foundation, there are several multimedia rooms, thousands of school kits and teaching facilities that this Foundation has graciously offered to populations across the country. Taking advantage of the visit of state in the Indénié-Djuablin, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has decided to rehabilitate and fully equip with 16 computers with internet access, a multifunction printer and a library with 3,000 books, the public center of communication of Abengourou commonly called the Hall of Information.
The inauguration ceremony of this media room took place, Friday, September 18, 2015, in Abengourou, in the presence of the Grand Chancellor of the National Order, Madame Henriette Dagri Diabaté, former Vice President of the National Assembly, Boa Thiémélé Edjampan, the Minister of Communication, Mrs. Bamba Affoussiata-Lamine, elected representatives, managers and the youth of Abengourou. Created after the country's independence to enable people to be informed of government actions, the Hall of Information plays forefront role in training and informing the population. Now this center made available to Children of Africa Foundation by the Ministry of Communication, will allow Abengourou youth to learn about computers and be open to the world. In addition to the media room, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered F CFA 2,500,000 to the youth and for the operation of the computer room.
