Angoulême Francophone Film Festival

For the tenth edition of the Francophone Film Festival in Angoulême, Côte d'Ivoire, the guest country of honor, has put the dishes in the spotlight.

As the guest of honor for the festival, First Lady Dominique Ouattara was at the side of the Ivorian artisans and artists for the promotion and enhancement of the country's heritage. The day after the Ivorian, French and European flags were lifted on the roof of the town hall of Angoulême, on Tuesday, August 22nd, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, inaugurated the Ivorian village in the courtyard of the hotel in the presence of the mayor of Angoulême Xavier Bonnefont, François Bonneau, President of the Department, Jean-François Dauré, President of the Grand Angoulême, Alain Rousset, President of the New Aquitaine region, and of course the Minister of Culture and the Francophonie, Maurice Kouakou Bandaman.

"Your creations are magnificent and they honor our country. I encourage you to continue promoting our beautiful Cote d'Ivoire through crafts, art and culture, "said the First Lady to these ambassadors of the Ivorian culture.

In this beautiful colorful village, decorated with fruits, there are products based on coffee, cocoa, shea and coconut. Accessories for ornament and clothing. The stylists with garments made from the Ivoirian loincloth is one of the great attractions of the village and the Galerie Lafayette. This village will close again on August 27th when the curtain falls on this tenth edition of the festival.
