The First Lady, Dominique Ouattara and President of the National Committee for Action against Trafficking, Exploitation and Child Labour received in audience Mrs. Katherine Brucker, the new chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the United States in Côte d’Ivoire.

Mrs. Dominique Ouattara and her distinguished guest talked for almost an hour about her commitment to children’s well-being, but also, about achievements in the fight against child labour and human trafficking.

After the meeting, Mrs. Katherine Brucker explained the purpose of this meeting. "It was my first meeting with the First Lady. We spoke of her commitment for the protection of  children and her implication in the fight against Child Labour and human trafficking. This meeting was very pleasant, and shows that we have a lot of work to do together, "she said.
