Marie-Josée Ta Lou wins 2 silver medals in London
The First Lady, Dominique Ouattara, paid a vibrant tribute to the young Ivorian athlete Marie-Josée Ta Lou after her double silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in London. Just as with Murielle Ahouré, Ruth Gbagbi and Cissé Cheick Salah, the wife of the Head of state celebrated the achievements of Marie-Josée Ta Lou. Thus, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara congratulated Marie-Josée Ta Lou, by offering a nice cocktail, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at her office in the presence of Mr. Albert François Amichia, Minister of Sports and Leisure and Ms. Mariatou Koné, Minister of Solidarity, Women and Child Protection.
Well before taking the floor, the First Lady offered three (03) million CFA francs to Marie-Josée Ta Lou, two (02) million CFA francs to the athlete's family and finally two (02) million F CFA to the technical team. In total, the wife of the Head of State has offered seven (07) million CFA francs. The young athlete also decided to offer her two (02) silver medals to the First Lady to thank her for her constant to sport activities.
In return, the family of Marie-Josée Ta Lou also donated loincloths to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara.
