The First Lady, Dominique Ouattara, Honorary President of the Red Cross of Côte d’Ivoire, sponsored the opening ceremony of the 9th Pan-African Conference of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies on Monday, April 10th 2017, at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire of Cocody. For this Pan-African meeting which is taking place from April 09th to 12th, 2017, more than 54 national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies and representatives from all over the world meet in Abidjan on the banks of The Ebrié Lagoon around the theme: “Investing in Africa”. The event was attended by the First Lady, Mr. Daniel Kablan Duncan, Vice-President of Côte d’Ivoire and Mrs. Raymonde Goudou Coffie, Minister of Health and the Fight against AIDS.
