Combating Child Labour: The First Lady on a working visit in Washington

Dominique Ouattara, First Lady and Chairman of the National Oversight Committee to Combat Trafficking, Exploitation and Child Labour, arrived in Washington DC on Saturday, September 14, 2019, for a six (6) day working visit.

The First Lady was welcomed upon her arrival by H.E. Haidara Mamadou, Head of the Ivorian Diplomatic Mission to the United States, at Dulles International Airport in Virginia. The First Lady and her delegation will have meetings and hearings with several political and civil society figures to present Côte d’Ivoire’s efforts to combat child labour.
