Washington : A dinner was offered in honour of the First Lady

The diplomatic mission of Côte d’Ivoire in Washington offered on Thursday, September 19, 2019 a dinner in honour of First Lady Dominique Ouattara and her delegation, who have traveled to the US to present Côte d’Ivoire’s efforts to combat the worst forms of child labour in cocoa production.

“We are particularly grateful to you for your effort to eliminate the worst forms of child labour in our coutry and for your tireless support to the most disadvantaged people through your far-reaching social and humanitarian actions,” said the Head of Mission, HEM Haidara Mamadou. On behalf of the Ivorian children living in the United States, Ms. Priscille Koffi, 12, expressed their thanks and gratitude to the First Lady for the support she has been providing to children.

The First Lady expressed her satisfaction to see fraternity among ivorians, while taking stock of the working sessions with and the US administration officials and political authorities.
