Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children Of Africa Foundation offered a reception on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in honor of Miss Olivia Yacé, Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2021 for her historic title win at Miss World 2021.
Miss World 2022: First Lady Dominique Ouattara offers an apartment worth 26 million CFA francs to Miss Oliva Yacé
The reception ceremony witnessed the participation of Mrs. Arlette Badou N’Guessan, Minister of Culture and Industry of Arts and Entertainment, Mrs. Nasseneba Touré, Minister of Women, Family and Children, Mr. Thierry Coffie and Jerome Yapobi, representative of the Miss Côte d’Ivoire Committee (COMICI), Mr. Jean-Marc Yacé and his wife, Miss Oliva Yacé’s parents and several other personalities.
Remember that Miss Olivia Yacé was crowned 2nd runner-up Miss World and Miss World Africa at the beauty contest Miss World 2021 which took place on March 16 in Puerto Rico. This is the first time in the history of this competition that a contestant from French-speaking African countries reaches this level. It is important to note that during the competition, Miss Oliva Yacé has highlighted her qualities as ambassador of beauty but also ambassador of the Ivorian culture.
Faced with this performance which was unanimously approved at the international level, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, sponsor of the Miss Côte d’Ivoire contest, decided to honor her goddaughter after her brilliant participation in this world contest. And to do things right, the wife of the Head of State has offered a twenty-six (26) million CFA francs apartment to the 3rd most beautiful woman in the world. This apartment was given to the Children Of Africa Foundation by Addoha Group. It is located in Bingerville. And it is part of the real estate program of the Addoha Group called: “Green City”.
Taking the floor, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara spoke of the pride and admiration she has for her. “It was important for me to organize this ceremony . I am so proud of Olivia. Indeed, since she became Miss Côte d’Ivoire, Olivia has always been able to highlight her qualities as ambassador of beauty and Ivorian culture with remarkable grace and intelligence. Her participation in the Miss World competition has brought unity among ivorians. “said Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. “Dear Olivia, in my own name and on behalf of President Alassane OUATTARA , I would like to congratulate you and tell you that we are proud of you. With emotion, Miss Olivia Yacé thanked her godmother for this gift that she did not expect. “I am very moved by this gift that the First Lady has just given me. I wanted to thank her again for all the support. Thank you for always accompanying me, for always giving me these beautiful gifts. I am moved, I am spoiled. And as your daughter, I thank you,” thanked Miss Olivia Yacé.
Mrs. Arlette N’Guessan Badou, Minister of Culture and Industry, Arts and Entertainment paid tribute to Miss Olivia Yacé. She thanked her for her performance in this beauty contest, but also for being a model and a worthy ambassador of culture and beauty.
