Audience: The First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, receives Debordo Leekunfa before his concerts
This Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Mr. Patrick Tanguy, better known under his stage name Debordo Leekunfa, ivorian singer ,was received by the First Lady at her office in Cocody.
The meeting, held under the sign of courtesy, was an opportunity for the singer to seek the support and invaluable advice of the First Lady in organizing his two major concerts entitled “Thank you to my nation”. These major events will be held respectively on December 8 at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire and on December 14, 2024 at the stadium of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny University in Cocody.
“I came to say thank you to our mother Dominique Ouattara for all she does for the country and all the children. I also came to seek her blessing, for my two concerts. she is the mother of Côte d’Ivoire, it was important for me to come and take blessings from her”, said Debordo Leekunfa.
During the meeting, the First Lady praised Debordo Leekunfa’s initiative, expressing her respect for his considerate approach. She also congratulated the artist on his remarkable career, which has contributed for many years to the influence of Ivorian culture, both at the national and international level.
