Audience : The First Lady receives the founders of the Akoula’s House and artist Aboudia

On Tuesday February 18, 2025, the First Lady received at her Cocody offices Mr Renaud Chauvin-Buthaud and his wife, Mrs Akoula Amon Chauvin-Buthaud, owners of the Akoula’s House, accompanied by the renowned painter Aboudia.

During the meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Chauvin-Buthaud presented and dedicated to the First Lady and the President of the Republic a special book published to mark the 10th anniversary of the Akoula’s House. The book, printed in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, traces the history and evolution of this initiative combining the hotel trade and art: “My wife and I came here to hand over the book that was published to mark the 10th anniversary of the Akoula’s House, and to dedicate it to His Excellency Mr. Alassane Ouattara, the President of the Republic, and also to the First Lady and her staff. The book is a limited edition of 1,000 copies, retracing the history of the Akoula’s House over the past 10 years”, declared Mr. Renaud Chauvin-Buthaud, as he left the audience.

The First Lady welcomed this initiative and congratulated the founders of the Akoula’s House on their commitment to promoting Ivorian culture and heritage. She also wished them every success as they continue this wonderful adventure.
