Audience: The First Lady receives Ms. Kandia Camara and a delegation of women leaders

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the First Lady, Ms. Dominique Ouattara, received Ms. Kandia Camara, President of the Senate, accompanied by a delegation of women leaders at her offices.

This meeting, marked by fraternity and gratitude, was an opportunity for Ivorian women in general, and those of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) in particular, to express their admiration and gratitude to the First Lady. They particularly praised her unwavering support for the President of the Republic, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara.

During the exchanges, discussions focused on the life of the presidential party and the decisive contribution of women to the Head of State’s victory in the first round of the presidential election on October 25, 2025. “First of all, on behalf of my sisters here and on my own behalf, I would like to thank Her Excellency the First Lady for granting us this audience. We came first to greet her and then to convey the admiration of the women of Côte d’Ivoire in general and the women of the RHDP for the support she gives to her husband, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara,“ said the President of the Senate.  ”We are very happy and we have come to express our joy to her. Finally, we talked about the life of our party, the RHDP. We also talked about the presidential election. Above all, we talked about how women could contribute to President Alassane Ouattara’s victory in the first round of the presidential election on October 25, 2025.” She ended. In addition, the President of the Senate also took advantage of this audience to present the First Lady with the official presidential campaign cloth.

At the end of the audience, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara expressed her deep gratitude to the President of the Senate and to all the women of Côte d’Ivoire for their constant commitment and unfailing mobilization in favor of peace, stability and development.
