Audience: First Lady Dominique Ouattara receives the President of Benin Football Federation

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, First Lady Dominique Ouattara granted an audience at her offices in Cocody to Mr. Mathurin de Chacus, President of the Benin Football Federation and  his son, Mr. Landry de Chacus.

 This meeting was part of a courtesy visit. Discussions focused on topics of mutual interest, including actions to promote the development and well-being of African populations.

At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara expressed her gratitude to her guest for this sign of fraternal love.

For his part, the President of the Benin Football Federation expressed his esteem and admiration for the First Lady’s initiatives, describing her as an “African mother” for her dedication to the people. “It was a pleasure. It was truly a pleasure for me to meet the First Lady today. My son made the appointment. I arrived last night from Paris. But I was very happy to meet her because we have always wanted to support her actions. Our society has always supported her. Today, we came to thank her. She has truly been an African mother,” revealed Mr. Mathurin Chacus.

This meeting strengthened the existing relationship between the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire and her guests, in a spirit of African brotherhood and solidarity
