Partnership : First Lady Dominique Ouattara Meets with Air Côte d’Ivoire Executives

First Lady Dominique Ouattara received General Abdoulaye Coulibaly, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Côte d’Ivoire, on Thursday, April 21, 2026, in Cocody. General Coulibaly was accompanied by Mr. Laurent Loukou, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

The purpose of this official visit was to reiterate the national airline’s gratitude to the First Lady for her unwavering support. “I came today to express my deepest gratitude and thanks to the First Lady. Last October, she honored us by serving as the patron of Air Côte d’Ivoire’s inaugural flight,” General Coulibaly stated after the meeting. He emphasized the importance of this symbolic gesture, which marked a key milestone in the airline’s development.

Beyond expressing gratitude, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the First Lady’s future social projects. Indeed, General Abdoulaye Coulibaly formally offered Air Côte d’Ivoire’s support for organizing the upcoming Children of Africa Foundation Gala Dinner, a prestigious event. “This is our way of ‘returning the favor,’ as she has helped us tremendously in the past. I told her that we are ready to assist and fully support her to ensure the success of this event,” he said.
