Audience: First Lady Dominique Ouattara Receives H.E. Simon Seroussi, Ambassador of Israel to Côte d’Ivoire
First Lady Dominique Ouattara received H.E. Simon Seroussi, Ambassador of Israel to Côte d’Ivoire, at her offices in Cocody On Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
This courtesy call provided an opportunity for the two figures to discuss the friendly and cooperative relations between Côte d’Ivoire and the State of Israel, as well as the numerous joint initiatives undertaken across various sectors, including the humanitarian field.
During the meeting, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara commended the quality of the ties between the two nations and the steadfast commitment of Israeli partners to supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s development efforts. She also thanked H.E. Simon Seroussi for the visit and wished him every success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Côte d’Ivoire.
After the meeting, the Israeli Ambassador expressed his satisfaction at this initial encounter with the First Lady, describing it as a special moment. “It was, first and foremost, a great honor and a great pleasure to meet the First Lady. It was a courtesy call for me to meet her. It was my first visit to introduce myself, to speak to her about the history of the Israeli presence in Côte d’Ivoire, and about the many activities we carry out across all sectors, including the humanitarian field,” stated His Excellency Mr. Simon Seroussi.
The diplomat also expressed his admiration for the social initiatives undertaken by the First Lady for the benefit of the Ivorian people. “I was very happy to speak with her and to learn a little about the magnificent work she is doing in Côte d’Ivoire,” he added.
Appointed as Israel’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Mr. Simon Seroussi noted that he has been posted in the country since last September, reaffirming his commitment to further strengthening cooperative relations between the two nations.
