Audience: Senator Gabriel Joseph Yace Received by First Lady Dominique Ouattara

First Lady Dominique Ouattara received the Honorable Gabriel Joseph Yacé, Senator of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, in an audience this Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at her offices in Cocody.

This courtesy visit gave the parliamentarian an opportunity to express his gratitude to the Head of State’s wife for the fraternal ties she has maintained with his family for many years.

“It is, first and foremost, a family meeting, because the First Lady was very close to our parents. Over the years, both she and the President have always reached out during times of joy or sorrow for our family. I therefore came to express my gratitude to her,” the Honorable Gabriel Joseph Yacé said following the audience.

Beyond its informal, family-oriented nature, this meeting also served as an opportunity to reaffirm the relationship of mutual respect and esteem shared by the two figures.

The Venerable Gabriel Joseph Yace is a prominent figure in Ivorian political life. A Senator of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, he previously presided over the Grands-Ponts Regional Council, where he distinguished himself through his commitment to local development. A senior member of the *Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix* (RHDP), he remains actively engaged in fostering development in the Grands-Ponts region and participating in national politics.
