6th Dinner Gala of Children of Africa
A phenomenal success! On top of having had the merit to get together a whole bunch ofcelebrities and famous personalities, the 6th dinner gala of the Foundation Children of Africamade it possible to just collect in one evening, more than three (03) billion CFA. Theannouncement was made by Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016, duringa cocktail of thanks organized at the head office of the Foundation Children of Africa inCocody, in honor of donors and partners, including the press barons and the journalists whoaccompanied that evening of the heart from start to finish. A situation which portends a betterfuture for the project of the construction of three (03) centers for children in distress valued atthree (03) billion CFA francs. This 6th dinner gala for which the theme was "Arabian Nightsfor a thousand hearts" was an outright a success for Mrs. Dominique Ouattara who does nothide her satisfaction. "You have to keep in mind above all that the gala went well and it was areal success. I would like to thank first of all the donors. We had very big donors, but alsosmall donors. This time, unlike the other years, the people who came to the gala paid theirseats and each of them at 90% donated in addition to their seat. It's great, and I would like tothank you. (…) We have reached our goal. We were able to get our three (03) billion CFAfrancs in one evening. It's extraordinary! "Mrs. Dominique Ouattara was glad. Moreover, shewas so keen on making clear that the 540 million CFA francs reported in the press and whichhave been collected after the auction, were largely exceeded in reality thanks to the buyingtickets, raffles, donations and sponsorships.
Furthermore, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara thankedthe members of the committee of organization for the good course and the success of theevening.Let’s note that the 6th dinner Gala of Children of Africa aims at raising funds for theconstruction of three (03) reception centers for the children who are the victims ofexploitation and traffic. These reception centers for children in distress will be builtrespectively in Ferkessedougou, Bouake and Soubré.
