The First Lady, Dominique Ouattara, President of the National Oversight Committee for Fight Actions Against Trafficking, Exploitation and Child Labor (CNS), has received a research team
from the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) of Chicago University, on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017, at the Presidential Residence.
 
During this meeting, the NORC team was represented by Messrs Kareen Kysia and Shanto Sadhu. They were accompanied by Mr. David Mosby, the Head of Political and Economic
Section at the US Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire.
 
This research and study center of Chicago University  will conduct in the coming months a survey financed by the US Department of Labor on the phenomenon of child labor in cocoa farming
in Côte d'Ivoire.
 
After having some working sessions with the Ivorian experts and their partners,  the delegation members wanted to exchange with Dominique Ouattara, First Lady and President of the National
Oversight Committee (CNS), on the methodology of the survey in order to make understandable the complexity of this social phenomenon.
