On the morning of Sunday June 18, 2023, the First Lady, Ms Dominique Ouattara, received in audience the head of the diplomatic mission of Côte d’Ivoire in the DRC, HEM Metch Adjé Silas and his First Secretary, Mr Tanoh Gervais; as well as Mr Adama Dera, President of the Ivorian Diaspora in the DRC, accompanied by the association’s Secretary General and Vice President.

The discussions focused on the FAFCI grant for Ivorian women living in the DRC. The First Lady stressed the importance of women repaying their loans properly, to enable more women to benefit from the fund.
Ambassador Merch Adjé Silas welcomed the participation of the First Lady, Ms Dominique Ouattara, in the celebration of OPDAD’s 20th anniversary, and above all thanked her for making herself available for the Ivorian community. On behalf of the entire community, the Ambassador wished the First Lady and her delegation a safe journey back to Côte d’Ivoire.
