Audience: First Lady Dominique Ouattara receives former Ivorian international football player Kolo Touré
On Tuesday June 3, 2025, the First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, received former Ivorian international football player Kolo Toure at her offices. He was accompanied by his wife. Kolo Touré said he made this courtesy visit to express his personal attachment to the First Lady, as well as his support for her commitment to social well-being, and to the development initiatives led by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara. “My wife and I are in Abidjan. I’m in frequent contact with the First Lady. So I couldn’t be in Abidjan and not give her a call and come and see her. So this is a courtesy visit.
It was important for me to stop by and say hello, to hear from her and the President of the Republic. And at the same time, to show our support for everything they have been doing for the country”, declared Mr. Kolo Toure, after leaving the meeting. “Being in Europe, every time we come back to Abidjan, we find that the city is changing. We see a lot of improvement in daily life. And that means a lot to us. We’re certainly there, but we think a lot about our country”. he underlined. Dominique Ouattara warmly thanked Kolo Toure for this mark of esteem. She also praised his brilliant career.
