Audience : First Lady Dominique Ouattara receives the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Côte d’Ivoire
The First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, received His Excellency Mr. Dominique Favre, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Côte d’Ivoire, on Tuesday June 24, 2025, at her office in Cocody. He came with his wife.
Recently appointed as head of the Swiss diplomatic representation in Abidjan, Ambassador Favre made this courtesy visit to express his gratitude for the warm welcome he and his wife have received since their arrival on Ivorian land.
“This is first and foremost a courtesy visit. We arrived in Côte d’Ivoire a few months ago, and we wanted to thank the First Lady for the exceptional welcome we have received,” said the diplomat.
During the meeting, the Ambassador also praised Mrs Dominique Ouattara’s remarkable commitment to the well-being and protection of children, both in Côte d’Ivoire and on the African continent.
As a reminder, H.E.M. Dominique Favre officially presented her Letters credentials to the President of the Republic, H.E.M. Alassane Ouattara, in September 2024.
