Audience: First Lady Dominique Ouattara Receives the New Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Côte d’Ivoire

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, First Lady Dominique Ouattara received H.E. Mr. Othmane El Feradaous, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Côte d’Ivoire, at her offices in Cocody.

This courtesy visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm the excellent ties of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation uniting Côte d’Ivoire and the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting, Ambassador Othmane El Feradaous conveyed the fraternal and cordial greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the First Lady. Discussions also focused on the special bonds uniting the two nations, rooted in exemplary cooperation and a shared vision of development and African solidarity.

Following the audience, the Moroccan diplomat praised the quality of relations between Abidjan and Rabat. “I had the honor today of paying this courtesy call on Her Excellency the First Lady. It was an opportunity to convey the fraternal and warm greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him. It was also an occasion to reflect on the exceptional relationship Côte d’Ivoire shares with Morocco. It is a relationship that is not only exemplary but one I would even describe as limitless. You are aware of the bonds of brotherhood and mutual solidarity that exist between our two countries. I told the First Lady that our countries will overcome challenges together. We stand together, so we will succeed together. That was the primary purpose of my visit,” stated His Excellency Mr. Othmane El Feradaous.

It was on Thursday, June 18, that H.E. Mr. Othmane El Feradaous, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Côte d’Ivoire, presented his credentials to President Alassane Ouattara at the Presidential Palace.

This audience once again reflects the quality of the historic ties uniting Côte d’Ivoire and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the shared commitment of both nations to continue strengthening their cooperation in a spirit of brotherhood, solidarity, and strategic partnership.
