Audience: journalist and writer André Silver Konan was received by First Lady Dominique Ouattara

This Thursday, November 28, 2024, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire and President of the Children of Africa Foundation, granted an audience to André Silver Konan, journalist, author and Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the André Silver Konan Foundation.

On leaving the audience, André Silver Konan expressed his gratitude and hapiness about the meeting. “I had the honor of presenting to her the projects of our Foundation, created six months ago. We intend to train 200 young people in various trades, in the four sub-prefectures of the Bocanda department. I also shared with her our major initiatives targeting the rural areas of the N’Zi region. I also announced my election, last September, as president of an association for the develpment of my village and the creation of an agricultural cooperative to better structure projects in this sector.”

André Silver Konan also emphasized the careful listening and encouragement he received from the First Lady. “She gave me invaluable advice and encouraged me to continue in my commitment to community service”, he added. It should be noted that the meeting also witnessed the presence of the Director of Communication, Brahima Coulibaly.
