Audience: The First Lady exchanges views with the Spanish Ambassador

First Lady Dominique Ouattara received H.E. Mr. Guillermo Marín Gorbea, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. Mr. Gorbea was accompanied by Mr. José Ramos, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy, at the First Lady’s offices in Cocody.
During the audience, discussions focused on the actions undertaken by the First Lady through her Foundation, and her various initiatives to improve the well-being of the Ivorian population. The discussion highlighted the efforts made to promote social projects and strengthen bilateral relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Spain.
“The purpose of my visit was first and foremost to pay my respects to the First Lady, and then to get to know her in person. It’s a great honor for me. And finally, to find out about all the extraordinary things she’s doing with her Foundation. She does so much for the well-being of the country, Africa and Spain too. The First Lady told me in detail everything the Foundation does for the well-being of the people. It’s truly amazing”, said H.E. Mr. Guillermo Marín Gorbea, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain.
This meeting shows the importance of international partnerships in supporting the social and economic development of local communities.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, in August 2024.
