Audiences: The First Lady exchanges views with the Ambassador of Egypt and the Chargé d’Affaire of the Embassy of Lebanon

A busy day for the First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, who received H.E.M. Sherif Magdy Rashad Seif, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Mrs Magida Karaki, Chargé d’Affaire of the Lebanese Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, this Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at her office in Cocody.

Discussions focused not only on bilateral cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and these two countries, but also on possible avenues of cooperation in the fields pursued by the First Lady through her humanitarian commitment.

 Mrs Magida Karaki, Chargé d’Affaire of the Lebanese Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, expressed the admiration and commitment of the strong Lebanese community to the First Lady’s humanitarian work. The First Lady’s guest also spoke to the wife of the Head of State about bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and Côte d’Ivoire, as well as possible avenues of cooperation in the fields covered by her humanitarian commitment.

H.E. Mr. Sherif Magdy Rashad Seif, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, spoke to the First Lady about cooperation between the Children Of Africa Foundation, Egypt’s 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital and the Ahl Masr Trauma and Burns Hospital. He concluded by declaring that he was in contact with the Egyptian authorities to find ways of cooperation between the Children Of Africa Foundation and Egyptian hospitals to the benefit of the populations of both countries.
