Bingerville / Laying of the foundation stone
Since 16 months, women and children in Côte d'Ivoire will have their hospital. A work conceived and desired by Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President and Founder of Children of Africa, the health facility, the first of its kind in Côte d'Ivoire, will be built adjacent to the Botanical Garden of Bingerville, on an area of 3 ha. It is in the nature of things that the people of the former political capital of the country, grateful for the countless requests to the President of Children of Africa, wished that the hospital is named after its designer, Mrs Dominique Ouattara.The ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone of the Dominique Ouattara Mother-Child Hospital was held, on Saturday, June 29th, 2013 in Bingerville in the presence of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, President of the National Assembly, Guillaume Soro, Prime Minister Kabran Duncan and all the members of the government. In addition, the Dominique Ouattara Foundation had among its guests at the ceremony, where internationally renowned personalities such as Princess Ira von Fürstenberg, Minister Douste-Blazy, Chairman of UNITAID (International drugs Purchase Facility) and Professor Alain Deloche, President of the NGO, Chain of Hope.
