First Lady equips "Dominique Ouattara health center"

First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara proceeded, on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013, to the equipment of the health center in the sub -prefecture of Brobo, on the occasion of the inauguration of the health center in the locality. On this occasion, the populations of this sub-prefecture stormed massively the health center. 02 hospital beds, 02 mattresses, 02 delivery tables; 02 gynecological examination tables, 01 medical refrigerator; 02 delivery boxes; 15 baskets and 75 incentive kits and 02 trolleys have been offered by the First lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara for the equipment and strengthening of the technical platform of the health center. In addition to these gifts, the First Lady also gave support to people, and especially the women of the community. Thus, the delegation led by Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie offered on behalf of the First Lady, a rice husker, corn and cassava grinders, sprayers, power pumps, watering cans, wheelbarrows and various donations to help them increase their income generating activities. In order to provide girls opportunities to learn trades, the First Lady has also equipped women’s center. Therefore, she, she offered stoves, freezers and sewing machines. The primary and grammar schools of of Brobo have not been forgotten. Geometric sets, chalk boxes, jerseys and soccer balls have been donated to various primary and grammar schools of the city. The kindergartens received turnstiles, swings, toboggans and mats for the delight of children. As a final point, the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered food supplies including Dinor oil cartons, tomatoes cartons, and rice bags of 50 kg and pasta bags. The amount of these donations is: 15 million FCFA.

Taking the floor, Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie insisted that these donations were made to the population prior to the state visit in the GBEKE region. In addition, she reminded people that Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has decided to devote herself essentially to the well-being of her fellow citizens in general and to children well-being in particular, ever since the accession of her husband to the presidency. Taking this opportunity, Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie explained in detail to the people, the reasons for the involvement of the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara in the fight against the worst forms of child labor. Seraphin Kouamé Yao, the Mayor of Brobo, expressed the commitment of the people of his city to the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara.
