Children of Africa celebrates 20 years

The Children of Africa Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary next March. On this occasion, the charity organization will organize on March 16th its fourth (4th) gala dinner to mark the occasion.

The event was announced by Mrs. Nadine Sangaré, Country Director of Children Of Africa, this Friday, February 16, 2018, during a press conference at the head office of the organization in Cocody. This Gala Dinner is organized around the theme: "Africa, an enchanting place in itself." During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to appreciate the cultural and artistic diversity of Africa and experience the magic of the African continent.

Mrs Lalla Malika Issoufou, First Lady of Niger is invited as guest of honour at this great event, which coincides with the inauguration of the  Mother and Child Hospital of Bingerville on the same day.

After raising fund for the construction of the Mother – Child Hospital of Bingerville, the three (03) children’s shelters in Soubré, Bouaké and Ferkessédougou, the Children of Africa Foundation will raise funds, at this charity gala, for the construction of a school consisting of two primary schools of six (06) classes each and a kindergarten in the municipality of Abobo. Indeed, the objective of the Foundation this time is to make education accessible to more children.

Ms. Sangaré Nadine, Country Director of Children Of Africa, gave the reasons for building a school. "After the construction of the Mother-Child Hospital of Bingerville and the 3 children’s shelters, the Foundation plans to build a school in Abobo. We believe that education is a fundamental right, our role is to make it accessible to more children. This is why we have decided to build a school for children, "she said. In addition, Ms. Dominique Ouattara's collaborator announced the inauguration of the children’s shelter in Soubré next April and the construction of the last two (02) shelters in Bouaké and Ferkéssédougou that same year.
