Death of Mrs Coulibaly Gniré Nahan : The First Lady offer her support to President N’Golo Coulibaly and his wife

The First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, also visited Mrs Mayelé Coulibaly and her husband N’Golo Coulibaly, former President of the High Authority for Good Governance, on Wednesday May 21, 2025, to show her support following the death of their daughter, Mrs Coulibaly Gniré Nahan Ouattara.
The First Lady’s delegation included several government ministers, the wives of presidents of institutions and ministers, as well as members of her Cabinet.
Deeply moved by this tragic loss, Mrs Dominique Ouattara offered her most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, on behalf of herself and her husband, the President of the Republic, Mr. Alassane Ouattara. Mr. Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication and Government Spokesman, revealed that the First Lady had been touched by this loss. The death of a child is an unnatural event. In addition, he revealed that because of the fraternal ties she has maintained for many years with the Coulibaly family, the wife of the Head of State was keen to come and mourn with the grieving family. On behalf of the Presidential couple, he handed over 5 million F CFA to the bereaved family.
Mr Dramane Konaté, spokesman for the Coulibaly family, thanked the Presidential couple for their support. He also expressed the bereaved family’s gratitude to the First Lady and her husband, for their outpouring of solidarity and the presence of government members alongside the bereaved family.
Mrs Coulibaly Gniré Nahan Ouattara died on May 6 in Abidjan. She was buried on May 9 at the Williamsville cemetery. The 7th day ceremony took place on May 11, 2025, at the home of President Coulibaly NGolo Fatogoma located at riviera 3, cite Allabra.
