Death of the mother-in-law of the Director of Children Of Africa: First Lady Dominique Ouattara expresses her empathy to her sister Nadine Sangaré

Mrs. Abogourin Ouraolo Victorine Coulibaly wife, retired teacher and mother-in-law of Mrs. Nadine Sangaré, Director of the Children Of Africa Foundation was called back to God on April 6, 2023. This sudden departure of the second wife of Mrs. Nadine Sangaré’s father, a close collaborator of the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, has brought profound grief to her family. Faced with this sad news, the Presidential couple through the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara wanted to show her compassion and solidarity to Mrs. Nadine Sangaré and the entire Coulibaly family and relatives.

It is therefore at the head of a strong delegation that the wife of the Head of State went in the afternoon of Thursday, April 13, 2023, to the family residence of the deceased located at the Riviera Abatta.

The delegation of the First Lady was composed of Mrs. Maïmouna Koné, wife of the Vice-President of the Republic, Mrs. Florence Achi, wife of the Prime Minister, several wives of Ministers, friends and collaborators of the First Lady.

The honor fell to Mr. Coulibaly Brahima, Director of Communication of the First Lady to speak on behalf of the Presidential couple. Thus, on their behalf, Mr. Coulibaly Brahima expressed the condolences of the Presidential Couple to the members of the bereaved family. He explained that in the name of the fraternal relations that bind the Presidential couple to the Sangaré family, the First Lady was anxious to come and share a deep sadness with the family of Mrs. Nadine Sangaré. He also insisted on the pain that the Presidential couple felt when he learned the news of the disappearance of the mother-in-law of Madame Nadine Sangaré. It is important to note that the First Lady made financial contribution for the funeral arrangements.

Professor Koffi Justin, Director General of the Regulatory Authority of the Warehousing Receipt System (ARRE) and spokesman for the Coulibaly family and relatives, thanked the Presidential couple for their many acts of brotherhood towards the Coulibaly family. Moreover, he said he was not surprised by the approach of the Presidential couple. That is why, on behalf of the Coulibaly family and their relatives, he prayed that God would reward the Presidential couple for all they have been doing not only for his family, but also for the whole country.

The funeral program of Mrs. Abogourin Ouraolo Victorine Coulibaly is set as follows : from Sunday, April 23 to Monday, April 24, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the official presentations of condolences will take place at the family home of the Coulibaly family in Abatta. On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, a prayer vigil will be held at the Saint Jean Paul 2 Parish in Angré Djibi. On Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the official presentations of condolences will take place at the home of the deceased in Dabou followed by the religious vigil at the Parish of Christ the King in Dabou from 7:00 pm. On Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., the raising of the body will take place on the square of the Christ the King Parish followed by a service and the burial ceremony at the municipal cemetery of Dabou. And finally, on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., a thanksgiving service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Parish of Dabou.
