Department of Gagnoa

The parents of the students of Gagnoa department will certainly be relief for this new school year". Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President and Founder of Children of Africa has launched the distribution of school kits operation, Monday, September 28, 2015, in the margins of the state visit in Gagnoa. This year, there are 10,000 school kits that the Foundation of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara will provide children in several regions of the country. The launch of this launching ceremony of the operation took place inside the school EPP Group Henriette Dagri Diabaté 1 of Gagnoa, the primary school where the Grand Chancellor attended for primary school in 1933. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara had at her side for this event, Madame Henriette Dagri Diabaté, Grand Chancellor of the National Order, Mrs Kandia Camara, Minister of Education and Technical Education and many other personalities.

For the Goh region, there are 2,000 school kits that will allow students’ parents to afford the costs of the school year 2015-2016. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara also took this opportunity to make in-kind donations worth 147 million CFA francs and a cash worth more than 4 million FCFA to the women of Gagnoa. She has also offered donations worth 110 million CFA francs for the women of the department of Divo. A total of 250 million CFA francs in donations of various kinds that will enable women to strengthen their activities. These gifts include several equipment for the department’s schools, social centers and women's centers. An ambulance and other biomedical materials have been provided to health centers of the department and other endowments to strengthen women's activities.
