Dimbokro: First Lady Dominique Ouattara visits the family of the President of the Republic

Dimbokro experienced an emotional moment on Saturday, March 8, 2025, when the First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, visited the family home of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, in the Dioulakro district. The visit coincided with the celebration of the 48th International Women’s Rights Day, marking a moment of homecoming for the First Lady.
Located in the Dioulakro district of Dimbokro, President Alassane Ouattara’s family home remains a place steeped in history and personal attachment. It was here that the Head of State was born on January 1, 1942, and spent part of his childhood. Today, part of his family still lives there, which helps to preserve the memories and presence of this illustrious personality in the region.
During her visit, Mrs Dominique Ouattara was warmly welcomed by the people of Dioulakro and members of the Head of State’s family. This meeting symbolized both a tribute to President Ouattara’s roots and a mark of consideration for the local community.
