The distress of his father Jacques Keh on social networks has touched Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of Children of Africa Foundation. Therefore, she has decided to take over the medical treatment of little Dorgelès until recovery. She has also provided medicines worth five million CFA francs (5,000,000 F CFA) to the center, in order to take care of all burn victims from poor families. The donation has been made on Thursday, April 10th, 2014, by Mrs. Nadine Sangaé, Director of Children of Africa Foundation, which also provided gifts and hampers to the residents sharing Dorgelès’ room.
"I came on the instructions of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara who has been touched by the case of little Dorgelès. She told me to come and get news about the state of the child’s health from Dr. Brigitte Vilasco. She, also, asked me to reassure the parents of litlle Dorgelès because she supports the child’s care (…) in addition, she decided to make available to the burns center , drugs of a value of 5 million CFA francs so that Dr. Brigitte Vilasco (center manager) can help all the poor sicks who come to this center", Mrs. Nadine SANGARÉ said.
Faced with this act of generosity Dorgelès’ father did not hide his emotion. "I did not think my child could survive after this accident. But the medical team worked hard. I did what I could with the means at my disposal. Today my son is better. There are great doctors who have already been contacted for my son, thank you to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara for her generosity. Thank you to President Alassane Ouattara. This shows that they do not abandon us in suffering. Thank you indeed. Thank you a thousand times."
