They are between 13 and 17 years old. And are among the best students of the District of Abidjan. For the first time in their lives, they will visit France through a partnership between Children OF Africa Foundation and the Cité Universitaire Club Association (CCU). Thus, the best of the best students of the District of Abidjan will be the lucky recipients of a stay of 15 days in south-eastern France, namely Cap d'Ail. The six (6) children from the communes of Cocody, Adjamé Yopougon, Abobo, Port-Bouet and Bingerville will be the first beneficiaries of the partnership to celebrate merit and excellence in the field of education.
The official presentation ceremony of the lucky beneficiaries of this study tour was held, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the headquarters of Children of Africa Foundation in Cocody, before Mrs Kandia Camara, Minister of Education and the Technical Education, education officials, the parents of students and the national press. The lucky recipients of this program are Attoungbré Amenan Angela, 14, a student in 4th form of secondary school at the “Collège Sainte Marie” of Cocody, with an average of 17.42. Bintou Doumbia, 13, 4th form student in the “Nangui Abrogoua” high school. She had an average of 17.10.
Oyotodé Zagadou Danielle, 16 years old, a student in the 6th form of the science at the Lycée jeunes filles of Yopougon with an average of 16.02. Komien Boanerges, 15 years old, a student in the fourth form in the “collège Destin” of Abobo. He had an average of 17.66. Jean Ekra Yao, 16 years old, a student in the first form of science from “the lycée Gnalea Mémé Jérémie, with an annual average of 17.45. And finally, Drogui Djoman Yann, 15 years old, a student in the first form of science from the “Lycée modern” of Port-Bouët with an average of 16.37.
