of Children of Africa has made this day of Thursday, February 19, 2015, a historic day of the University of Cocody. In fact, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered a multimedia room equipped with 50 computers, 50 headphones, 50 webcam, a video projector, 50 chairs, a printer and an internet connection. The media room is the fulfillment of a promise made to students in May 2014 during the celebration of the second scientific day of the woman researcher in Côte d’Ivoire. A day placed under the patronage of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. The value of this multimedia room: CFA francs 85 million. In addition to this donation, the "wandering" of charity also equipped the infirmary of the University and offered gifts to students to the disabled students for a total of CFA francs 15 million. And as she used to do, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara also provided cash donations to students, teachers and the attending populations. Thus, she offered cash donations worth FCFA 7.5 million to students, teachers and these populations.
All these gifts in kind and cash are valued at CFA francs 107 million. Students of the Felix Houphouet-Boigny University were therefore entitled to a shower of gifts that will significantly improve their living and studies. It is also a commitment to education that the Children of Africa Founder shared with these populations. "Children of Africa Foundation has always been sensitive to the training of students in general and more specifically in the field of Information Technology and Communication (ICT). Therefore, in recent years, the Foundation has already created multimedia rooms in several high schools and colleges across the country. It’s in tune with the hope of my dear husband, the President of the Republic, who launched this morning, the project called: "To every citizen, a computer, one internet connection." In fact, everyone should be able to easily access the computer tool, in order to get our country in line with the working of the world ", wished Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. Acceding to the students’ complains, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has agreed to become the patron of the association of students with disabilities in Côte d'Ivoire. She promised to meet them and all students through her Cabinet, to see the steps to stand facing their various grievances.
