First Lady Dominique Ouattara ended her tour of solidarity by the city of Ferkessédougou. Initiated in favor of the state visit paid by President Alassane Ouattara from July 02nd to July 08th, 2013 in the District of Savannah, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara traveled, alongside her husband, across the northern regions of the country, spreading joy and happiness in the heart of the people in general, but especially women and children in particular. Let’s note that this ceremony was attended Kigbafori Soro Guillaume, President of the National Assembly. Thus, like in Kouto; Gbon; Kolya; Kong Sinématiali and Korhogo, the First Lady has epressed her commitment, on Sunday, July 7th, 2013 to the Modern High School of Ferké, the people of this town, making significant donations in cash and kind. But also giving through Children's Of Africa Foundation, a fully equipped multimedia room to the pupils of the modern school of the city. Thus, she offered 06 rice hullers, 100 sprayers, 200 motor pumps, 500 watering cans, 275 wheelbarrows, 500 machetes, 500 files, 05 tarpaulin shelters, 500 chairs, and 50 kits for vegetable growers associations and women's groups in the community. In the social field, batches of hairdressing equipment, batches of sewing equipment, 03 stoves, 03 freezers, 20 sewing machines and 10 helmets that Mrs. Dominique Ouattara gave free of charge to Ferkessédougou female centers. Aiming to provide better learning conditions for students, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered a multimedia room equipped with 15 computers, 15 computer tables, 15 chairs and 01 multifunctional printer to the Modern High School in Ferké. In addition, she has also offered 600 books of any kind to the school library. Continuing in the field of education, she offered 50 geometric sets, 20 chalk boxes, 15 sports jerseys, 05 footballs, 50 rakes, 50 brushes, 100 machetes and 100 files for the city ‘s schools and colleges. Kindergartens, socio-educational complexes and orphanages have not been forgotten. Thus, she offered 03 turnstiles, 03 swings, 03 slides, 200 chairs for children, lots of toys and 110 mats to kindergartens, orphanages and educational complexes in the city.
