Fight against the HIV Epidemic Among Adolescents and Young People in Africa

In response to an invitation of the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana and Chairperson of the Organization of African First Ladies for the fight against HIV-AIDS (OAFLA), Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, First Lady the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire arrived in Accra on Thursday to participate tomorrow, Friday, February 11th in the launch of the continental campaign “All-In ” to end the HIV epidemic among adolescents. This part of the 7th Africa Conference on Sexual Health and Rights.

Accompanied by the Minister of Health and Public Health, Dr Raymonde Coffie Goudou, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara was greeted on her arrival by Ghana Minister of Tourism, Hon Mrs Elizaabet Hofosu-Adjarian and Côte d’Ivoire Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Bernard Ehui. Were also present the members of the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire and a delegation of students living in Accra.

Alongside the First Ladies of Ethiopia (East Africa), Mrs. Roman Tesfaye, and Chad (Central Africa), Mrs. Hinda Dey Itno, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, Special Ambassador for UNAIDS for the elimination and pediatric treatment for HIV, will be West Africa’s spokesperson, of Côte d’Ivoire in particular.
