First Lady Dominique Ouattara designated for her leadership

For her leadership on the African continent at HEC Paris, Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, participated in her first meeting of the International Advisory Board of HEC PARIS from 21 to 22 March 2019.

This meeting witnessed the participation of several other personalities including His Excellency Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Princess of Qatar, Director General of Qatar Foundation and Mr. Sidi Youssef El Bakkali, President of the Mohamed VI Foundation.

This meeting brought together at the headquarters of the famous French school, all influential personalities from the world of business, politics, science and several fields. The International Advisory Board has an advisory role to the Board of Directors of HEC Paris, in particular on the international strategy, and bases its recommendations on the experience of its members.

Note that the meeting started on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the headquarters of HEC Paris. Several topics were discussed among the participants, namely the strategies of HEC Paris, the teaching program, faculty development, research, program presentation, graduates, presentation on social and environmental challenges and a workshop on social and environmental challenges.

The discussion allowed each of the designated personalities to share their experience on the topics. For her part, the First Lady, Dominique Ouattara suggested among other things the promotion of scholarships made available by the HEC Foundation. Note that the members of the International Advisory Board are designated for four (4) years.
