First Lady Fully Equips Kabacouma Health Center

Kabacouma populations in the department of Biankouma can now let a sigh of relief. The reason is that First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara totally equipped, on Saturday, April 27th, 2013, the health center of this town in the west of the country. Thus, ahead of the state visit of President Alassane Ouattara in the Tonkpi region from 1st to 5th May 2013, Dominique Ouattara has sent her colleagues in order to provide support and assistance to the people of that region. So, the jubilant populations of Kabacouma received, on the village square, Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie the representative of Dominique Ouattara, at the head of a large delegation. The First Lady’s envoy was accompanied by the Minister of State, Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Albert Mabri Toikesse, also President of the General Council of the Tonkpi Region. Not surprising: Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie has not made the trip to Kabacouma, empty-handed. On behalf of the First Lady, she offered all the equipment necessary to equip the health center of the village. Indeed, she has provided mucus vacuum cleaner for infant, dressing bandage boxes, suture boxes, delivery boxes, boxes of episiotomy, wheelchairs, gynecological examination tables, baby scales, insufflator resuscitators and other biomedical devices. In addition, Mrs. Sylvie Patricia Yao, Chief of Staff of the First Lady Office took the ceremony to introduce to the public the new midwife for village. Mrs. Sylvie Patricia Yao told the people First Lady, Dominique Ouattara’s attachment to the populations of Kabacouma, who has heard about the difficulties that they experience daily to benefit from health care, and the lack of drugs despite the fact that the health center exists already for a few years. In addition, she invited local women to register massively for the micro financing program set up by the First Lady. In that framework, she revealed that Mrs. Dominique Ouattara chose the Tonkpi region to launch the implementation phase of the Support Fund for Women of Côte d'Ivoire. Thus, on Thursday, May 2nd, 2013, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara will deliver, in Man the first FAFCI checks. She also invited all the women who are still reluctant to adhere to the project for a better future.
