Humanitarian action: Deloitte awards First Lady Dominique Ouattara for her commitment to helping people in need

First Lady Dominique Ouattara received the Deloitte Award “for her ongoing commitment to the empowerment of women, education and professional integration of youth and child protection”.

This award was officially presented to the wife of the Head of State, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his office in Cocody, by Mr. Gianmarco Gadret, Managing Director of Deloitte France and Francophone Africa.

For this purpose, the delegation of Deloitte was also composed of Mr. Emmanuel Gadret, Managing Director Deloitte Francophone Africa, Mr. Marc Wabi, Managing Director Deloitte Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa, Ms. Emma Kharouf, Partner Leader Consulting Francophone Africa and Ms. Sandrine Soppopriso, Legal and Tax Partner Cameroon.

The delegation of Deloitte also had the opportunity to exchange with Mrs. Dominique Ouattara on her experience in the humanitarian field, as well as in the empowerment of women.

After the audience, Mr. Gianmarco Gadret, Managing Director of Deloitte France and Francophone Africa, explained the purpose of the visit. “The purpose of our visit was to listen to the experience of the First Lady in terms of education,for youth development, and helping young people and mothers in difficulty. Deloitte has a foundation that is very much involved in education and we were very interested in hearing about the First Lady’s experience in this area.  Specifically, we discussed the actions of the Children Of Africa Foundation in education, in helping women and children who may also be in difficulty. I shared with the First Lady what we were doing at Deloitte,” explained Mr. Gianmarco Gadret, Managing Director of Deloitte France and Francophone Africa.

Deloitte is a British multinational firm founded in London, which is one of the four largest networks of audit and consulting firms in the world.
