Humanitarian aid: Miss France 2025 contestants visit the young residents of the Children’s Hut

After the reception, it was time for some useful work. On Saturday November 23, 2024, the 30 candidates for the title of Miss France 2025 experienced an emotional moment in a festive and warm-hearted atmosphere at the Children’s Hut, a reception center for destitute children in Abidjan. After lunch offered in their honor, the young women had the opportunity to visit this reception center dedicated to underprivileged children.

During the visit, the candidates were able to interact with the little ones, sharing moments of joy and tenderness that will remain engraved in their hearts. Laughter, smiles and gestures of affection marked this meeting, testifying to the young women’s commitment to opening up to others and bringing a little happiness to these vulnerable children.

Mrs Nadine Sangaré, Director of the Children Of Africa Foundation, had the honor of presenting the center. According to her, the center welcomes around 75 children, all of whom attend school. The young boarders are fully supported by the First Lady’s Foundation. She recalled that the center had been renovated to accommodate more children. She took advantage of the ceremony to introduce Madame Béatrice Durand, who is in charge of the shelter.

During the ceremony, the 30 girls competing in the Miss France contest were all dressed in african print. The outgoing Miss Eve Gilles was dressed as the Akan Queen.

Each holding the hand of one of the young residents of the shelter, the contestants for Miss France 2025 performed ballets to the sound of the song “Mapouka 3 étoiles” by artists Josey and Vitales, followed by “zoblazo” a song by Meiway.  It was a magical moment for the kids.

It is important to know that the First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, came around 4 p.m.

By combining grace and generosity, the Miss France 2025 candidates showed that beauty can also be a gateway to concrete action for the most vulnerable. This is a wonderful illustration of the spirit of sharing that drives the Children of Africa Foundation, and of the importance of working for a greater world.
