INAUGURATION OF A BLOOD TRANSFUSION CENTER IN DAOUKRO

So Mrs. Dominique Ouattara paid a vibrant tribute to Mrs. Henriette Konan Bedié, on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at the General Hospital of Daoukro, during the inauguration ceremony of Daoukro blood center. Before a huge crowd that stormed the health building, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara well-chosen words expressed her gratitude to the wife of President's Aimé Henri Konan Bedié for her humanitarian work through Servir, her foundation. "I would now like to pay tribute to my dear sister Henriette Konan Bedié. As you know my big sister fights with her Foundation Servir to help the weakest and I would like to thank her very much, "said Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. The First Lady Dominique Ouattara offered on this occasion donations in cash and kind to the General Hospital of Daoukro and to its staff.
So kindhearted lady has offered 1,300 delivery kits; 192 caesarean and anesthesia kits; 10 boxes of gauze; 10 boxes of surgical gowns; 15 surgery coats ; 5 gloves boxes; 10 boxes of protective overalls; 2 boxes of sample tube; 2 boxes of medicine; 15 incentive antenatal care kits; 15 baskets and 150 tap buckets for hand washing. In addition, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered CFA francs 2 million to the blood transfusion center for its startup and FCFA 1 million to the hospital staff. Henriette Konan Bedié also spoke from her heart. She provided 5,000 long-lasting, insecticide-treated mosquito nets. Taking this opportunity, Dominique Ouattara, godmother of the ceremony urged people to donate blood to save lives.
