Today is a very busy day for the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. After the inauguration of the nursery school in the sub-prefecture of Ouéllé, the First Lady Dominique Ouattara and the members of his delegation headed to the sub-prefecture of Ananda. In this new sub-prefecture, Dominique Ouattara proceeded, on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, to the inauguration of the head office of the Agricultural Cooperative Society of the Women of Ananda (SOCAFA). For that ceremony, the First Lady was flanked by Henriette Konan Bédié, the wife of President Henri Konan Bédié. It is in the fervor that the populations of Ananda welcomed their guests. Massed along the road, they have booked a rousing welcome to the First Lady Dominique Ouattara and his older sister, Henriette Konan Bedie. And since she knows so well, it's hands full of gifts that the First Lady has made the trip to Ananda. So Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered donations in cash and kind worth 40 million CFA francs to the people of this locality. For donations in cash, Dominique Ouattara has offered Francs CFA francs 5million to the populations. In particular, she has offered CFA francs three million to women; Francs CFA 1million to traditional leaders; Francs CFA 500.000 to the youth and CFA francs 500,000 to primary schools in the locality. For the donations in kind, the total of donations that the wife of the head of the Ivorian government has graciously offered to the population is worth Francs CFA 35 million. Thus, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered rice and corn huskers; rice and corn macerators; of motor-tricycles; cassava pressers and other gifts to women’s cooperative and  groups. She then offered furnaces; basins; water containers; decanters and everything needed to allow the city restaurant owners to practice their trade. Hairdressers and tailors and dressmakers have not been forgotten. The wife of the head of state has offered Hoods; hairdryers; storage furnitures and many other donations. The young people, the nursery school, the primary and secondary schools have received equipment to ensure a good start of the new school year. In addition, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered food to the populations; equipment for school canteens and health centers. People with disabilities have received for handbikes.
