Ivorian-Moroccan Econimic Forum
Ivorian- Moroccan economic forum launched is behind us since Tuesday, February 25th, 2014.Launched last Monday, February 24th by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the forum has been attended by 101 Moroccans individuals and economic operators and 450 Ivorians at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire. 26 agreements and MoUs in various fields of development have been signed by both parties to boost their development.
In this context, the Groupe Banque Centrale Populaire of Morocco signed a memorandum of understanding on a financial support of CFA 500 million with the Support Fund for Côte d'Ivoire Women ( FAFCI ). The Moroccan Group was represented by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mohamed Benchaâboun while Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie represented the Support Fund for Côte d'Ivoire Women ( FAFCI ).
This financial support will allow the Support Fund for Côte d'Ivoire Women, set up by Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, help more Ivorian women to get out of poverty.
For Souleymane Diarrassouba CEO of Atlantic Bank Group, a subsidiary of the Groupe Banque Centrale Populaire of Morocco , this financial support is justified by institution’s will to provide assistance for women’s micro- finance program set up by the First lady of Côte d'Ivoire. He, moreover, revealed that the Moroccan Group has already led an extensive program of funding women's projects in the Sharif Kingdom.
Mme Yao Patricia Sylvie, représentante de Mme Dominique Ouattara a exprimé sa joie. Pour elle, cet appui financier permettra au FAFCI de continuer à aider les femmes à lutter contre la pauvreté.
Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie representative of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara expressed her joy. For her, this financial support will enable the FAFCI keep on helping women fight against poverty.
