It’s a crime of lèse-majesty to visit Aboisso without stopping at Koukourandoumi, the native village of Henriette Konan Bedié. This stop, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of Children of Africa Foundation has made it for the bonds of brotherhood that bind her to the President of the NGO Servir. Thus, thanks to the state visit in the South Comoé, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara proceeded to the inauguration, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, the school canteen bearing her name in Koukourandoumi public primary school. An important step that will strengthen the link between the heart of both ladies. For the occasion, the foundress of Children of Africa was accompanied by her elder sister Madame Henriette Konan Bedié. And as she knows so well, in addition to the opening of the canteen, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara proceeded to its equipment.
Thus, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has provided equipment and food for the school canteen. Indeed, it is one freezer, 100 bassins, 100 water containers, 500 plates, 500 spoons, 500 cups, 500 decanters, a kits of pots, 25 cartons of oil cans, 25 cartons of tomato cans, 100 bags 50 kg of rice and 100 pasta pouches that have been offered to the school canteen of the public primary school of Koukourandoumi. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara also offered educational materials, hygiene and games for the schools and kindergarten of the locality. She then offered biomedical equipment to health centers and equipment for the strengthening and improvement of women's activities in the locality. Value of these gifts: CFA francs 15 million. In addition to these in-kind donations, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has offered F CFA 2.5 million to the people of Koukourandoumi.
Honour to where honor is due, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara has paid tribute to Mrs Henriette Konan Bedié. She reaffirmed the bonds of sisterhood that binds the couple Ouattara to the Bedié couple.Elogne Eba, an executive of Koukourandoumi and the project manager of the school canteen thanked Mrs. Dominique Ouattara for her humanitarian commitment. Sekongo Ange, a student at the Primary School of Koukourandoumi did not say anything diferent. She thanked the mother of all the children of Côte d’Ivoire for her support and fight for the well-being of toddlers.
