Meeting: First Lady Dominique Ouattara Meets with Minister Nassénéba Touré

First Lady Dominique Ouattara received Minister Nassénéba Touré, Minister of Women, Family, and Children, at her offices in Cocody on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

This working meeting focused on monitoring and evaluating projects and initiatives undertaken to support women, families, and children throughout the country. It also provided an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and the First Lady’s office regarding ongoing social initiatives.

During the meeting, Minister Nassénéba Touré presented a summary of the various interventions carried out, emphasizing the importance of coordinated action to enhance the impact of programs for vulnerable populations.

At the end of the meeting, she expressed her gratitude to the First Lady for her unwavering commitment.

“It is a pleasure for me to be received by Her Excellency the First Lady of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, who is the leading champion and ambassador for child protection, women’s empowerment, and the fight against gender-based violence,” she stated. Returning to the purpose of her visit, the Minister for Women said: “I came to present her with a progress report on the projects she has initiated for women and children. As Minister in charge of Women, Family, and Children, it is essential to ensure synergy with the First Lady’s office to best guide interventions for the well-being of the population.”
